I’m Marie, the founder and owner of SlayBySlye Beauty Studio. With over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, I’ve built my career around helping clients achieve healthy, beautiful hair while creating a salon experience that feels elevated, relaxing, and personal. I specialize in loc maintenance, starter locs, interlocking, wick services, loc extensions, loc repairs, custom loc styling, and healthy hair care. My passion goes beyond creating beautiful styles—it’s about preserving the health of your hair and helping you feel your absolute best. I created SlayBySlye Beauty Studio to be more than just a salon. I wanted a space where every client could escape the stress of everyday life, relax, and enjoy a luxury experience centered around self-care, confidence, and genuine connection. Cancellation Policy
SLAYBYSLYE BEAUTY STUDIO
Cancellation • Rescheduling • Late Arrival Policy
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. To ensure that I can provide every client with the best experience possible, please review the following policies before booking.
DEPOSITS
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Your deposit will be applied toward your remaining service balance.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment.
SAME-DAY CANCELLATIONS
Same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the remaining service balance in addition to the loss of the original deposit.
NO-CALL / NO-SHOWS
Clients who do not arrive and do not contact me will be charged 100% of the scheduled service balance and will be required to pay a new deposit before booking again.
LATE ARRIVALS
A 15-minute grace period is provided.
After 15 minutes, a $25 late fee will be added if I am still able to complete your scheduled service.
If your late arrival does not leave enough time to properly complete your service without affecting the next client’s appointment, your appointment may need to be canceled or rescheduled. Your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
PAYMENT
The remaining balance, along with any applicable fees, is due at the completion of your service.
